Chris Stott runs HyperhidrosisRelief. He is based in the UK. He is not a doctor, pharmacist or other clinician, and he does not see patients. He is the editor accountable for what the site publishes and for corrections. Pages stay bylined “HyperhidrosisRelief Editorial Team” so a personal name is not mistaken for clinical expertise.

The byline used on guides, reviews and comparisons. The writing is desk research from published NHS, NICE, BNF and manufacturer sources, plus aggregated owner reports. It is not a claim that a clinician wrote or checked the page.

Planned independent medical reviewer

We are currently recruiting a GMC-registered UK clinician to review our core medical guides. No content on this site has been medically reviewed yet, and we will not claim otherwise. When a reviewer is appointed we will publish their name, credentials and GMC number here, and show the reviewer and review date on each page they have checked.

Our standards

  • Where we make a specific clinical claim we cite the source: NHS, NICE, the British Association of Dermatologists or peer-reviewed research. We are working through the back catalogue adding these citations; guides that carry a “Sources” section have been done.
  • We do not provide medical advice. Guides signpost readers to a GP, dermatologist or the NHS for diagnosis and prescribed treatment.
  • Product recommendations are independent. We disclose affiliate relationships on every page that uses them.
  • We aim to revisit every guide at least once a year. The “last updated” date on each page reflects when it was last substantively edited.
