Excessive sweating is common, awkward to talk about, and badly served by advice written for the US health system. This site explains the UK options in plain language so you can prepare for a conversation with a pharmacist or GP. It does not diagnose you or choose a treatment for you.

Clinical pages are desk research. We start with UK sources: the NHS, NICE (including Clinical Knowledge Summaries and technology appraisals), the BNF, Summaries of Product Characteristics on the electronic medicines compendium, and the British Association of Dermatologists. Product pages use the manufacturer's published formulation and instructions, plus patterns in aggregated owner reports.

We do not test products, and we do not claim interviews with dermatologists. Nothing on this site has been medically reviewed. We are recruiting a GMC-registered UK clinician. Until that person's name, credentials and GMC number are published on the editorial team page, and a review date appears on the guide they have actually checked, treat every article as unchecked by a clinician.
